St. John Bosco -ESL Classes

In 2003 classes were begun for hose wishing to learn English.
These classes were held in classrooms located on the second
Floor of St. John Bosco school building.
At first they were held on Saturday evenings, followed by attendance
at the Spanish Mass.  Since 2005, they are now held on Thursday
evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  There are nine people
 involved in the teaching of these classes, including some aides.
At the end of each semester, a certificate will be presented to each
Student to show how many hours they have spent in the pursuit of
 learning English.  This will be of value when they must present
proof of efforts to learn English.

The classes are provided with materials from the Vita Educational
Service located in Doylestown.  Sister Joseph Maureen is in charge
Of the program and can be reached at 215-675-2301 for any help
That is needed.  New students are welcome at any time.
