ADMISSIONS

Saint John Bosco School admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all of the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to its students.  Saint John Bosco School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, its admission policy, or in any school-administered program. 

Saint John Bosco School endeavors to accommodate students with special needs, as the school’s resources and capabilities reasonably permit.  Saint John Bosco School reserves the right to decline admission or impose reasonable conditions of attendance where indicated under the circumstances. 

Students entering the Pre-Kindergarten Three Program should be three years of age by September 1.  Students entering the Pre-Kindergarten Four Program should be four years of age by September 1.  Students entering Kindergarten should be five years of age by September 1.  Incoming first graders should be six years of age by September 1 or have completed Kindergarten.  Students entering grades one through eight from a Catholic school are admitted at their current grade level.  Students entering from other schools may be tested for academic placement at the discretion of the Principal. 

Before a child is accepted for registration, the following must be presented: 

  • Birth Certificate
  • Baptismal Certificate (regardless of home parish)
  • A certificate of immunization that must be updated and available for confirmation
  • Custody information (if applicable) is to be on record in the school office 
 

REGISTRATION 

Registration for all students new to our school takes place beginning in January.  Registration information is communicated through the school communication envelope and the parish bulletin.  Parents may call the school office to request information packets and other information regarding the school.  There is a non-refundable family fee due at the time of registration. 

RE-REGISTRATION 

Families registered in our school are required to re-register annually.  Re-registration information for the following year is forwarded to each family through the weekly communication envelope in January prior to the next school year.  Tuition fees and non-refundable re-registration fees are published.  All financial obligations must be current before re-registration can be processed.
